Through a series of seminars throughout the province, I will be keeping an eye out for young skaters with the potential to excel at skating! With the help of friend and coach, Matthew Power, we will be educating and helping young skaters, coaches, and parents learn what it takes to become a high level athlete. I am very excited to work with the young, talented, determined skaters that show a pure love of skating.
My goal for these seminars is to inspire young skaters to reach their full potential. I will give them tips and share some of the lessons that I've learned over the years. I hope to help them flourish the way I know they can. I want to help our skaters experience an elite training atmosphere with some of Canada's best coaches, skaters, strength trainers, and sports psychologists. To be clear, I want the athletes to experience these opportunities, not to take them away from the province, but to bring the knowledge back in. Expand the horizons to make us stronger. Newfoundland has all the resources it needs to be strong and highly competitive, but not everyone knows what is available to them. These seminars are to help everyone reach their potential.
